In this paper, we consider special (α, β)−metric L = α + 2 β^2/α −(1/3) β^4/α^3 + ϵβ (ϵ ̸= 0) constant, and discuss the condition for a Finsler space with special (α, β)−metric to be projectively flat on the basis of Matsumoto’s results where
α is a Riemannian metric, β is a differential 1-form.
